Nature's Connection: offers many types of tours and outings. Our manatee tours are the most popular. We have two different Manatee tours. THE BASE TOUR lasts about 3 to 3 1/2 hours. It is a mixed company tour but never more than 12 people and most tours have 6 to 8 swimmers on board. Your tour begins by getting dressed out in the needed equipment. You will be required to watch a short video called Manatee Manners, it is very informative and explains the do's and don'ts of a Manatee Interaction. We will go over some vessel emergency procedures and be on our way! Our boats are equipped with full curtain enclosures,changing room and porta-potty. There will be a cooler full of ice for you to use and you may bring snacks if you like. Hot chocolate is provided during the winter months. Once we leave our docks it will be a short ride to the springs where the Manatee like to congregate but Manatee and many other types of wildlife can be seen anywhere along the way. The Private Tour: is for those who prefer to have only their friends and family onboard. The tour lasts longer than our base tour and can be tailored to your likings. The tour includes soft drinks,water and hot chocolate (during the winter months). After you have experienced your Manatee encounter we can take sometime to relax and take in some of the beautiful scenery, where we can observe many types of wildlife and sea life. If your hungry we can go to any of the local restaurants for some great food and refreshing drinks,with most having beautiful views of the river. Click on contact page for pricing!
Scalloping Trips: are offered during the summer months (July 1st. thru Sept. 10th.) these outings are fun for all ages. They are experienced in the warm,crystal clear,shallow waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Scalloping gives you an opportunity to swim and search for these succulent morsel's. So if you don't mind a little exercise,in a beautiful setting scalloping is a wonderful way to spend your day. My scalloping boat is a 24 foot Carolina Skiff that is equipped with a thru hull glass bottomed observation hatch to help us locate them. This way we don't waste alot of time swimming where there are none to be found! We only take 6 people per. boat, so we have lots of room to stretch out and relax. Click on contact page for pricing!
